I made this sketch about 4 years ago and yesterday I decided to polish it for fun. Back when it was made, I remember feeling uninspired to do any personal work but today I feel like anything I draw is practice, no need to feel like I have to create something for my portfolio every time. Like, here I cheated a lot lol. My main focus was not to create a personal piece but to put together a concept, that’s the fun part.
It’s weird to revisit old work because I have evolved so much since then it feels like it’s not even mine, so I’m like “huh… I wouldn’t do that like this…”
